  • We encourage you to bring your own binoculars.

The experience

Introduction (30 min)

Learn about astronomy basics, the night's celestial wonders, and Deep Sky Eye, while sitting back in a comfortable zero-gravity chair.

Outside, under the beauty of the summer Milky Way, learn to navigate the night sky using points of reference such as Polaris (North Star) and various constellations.

During the experience, a live view of what the telescope sees will be projected on the outdoor screen. The images will be shared with you the day after the experience. Follow the telescope’s laser with your eyes or binoculars to see where the object is located in the sky.

WIth your own eyes (60 minutes)

Using a number of telescopes, including our 16” Meade Lightbridge and Astro Physics 6” Planet Fire telescope set up on the observing platform, we will share with you the beauty of the planets and deep space objects (some objects are only visible at certain times of the year). Galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, the Moon, & planets are all within reach from the dark skies of Quinan!

Cancellation policy

24 hours prior to the event for a full refund. Refunds will only be issued the day of the event if cancelled by Deep Sky Eye in cases such as bad weather.
