Rescheduling/Cancellation Policies

We understand life can happen. We strongly recommend purchasing our Booking Protection at checkout for our accommodations.

Cancel Anytime Before The Event: full refund.
If Deep Sky Eye cancels (any time): full refund (including same-day cancellations due to weather).
In the event that clouds roll in during the event and we do not get a chance to use the telescopes, a 50% refund will be given.

If you purchased Booking Protection during checkout:

For Any reason: Cancel up to 24 hours before check-in (rescheduling subject to availability) with a refund of the total accommodation amount paid, including applicable taxes less the Booking Protection fees.
Does not cover no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of check-in.
Booking Protection is only valid for the dates of the booking.
Booking Protection fee is non-refundable.
NOTE: If there are extreme weather conditions issued by Environment Canada (for example: Thunderstorm warnings, or fire alerts) DSE may cancel with a 100% refund

Otherwise if you did not purchase Booking Protection

Cancel 21+ Days prior to booking date: 100% refund less $25 cancellation fee. Reschedule with no penalty
Cancel 7-20 days prior to booking date: 50% refund. Reschedule: $50 admin fee
Less than 7 days prior to booking: No refund, Reschedule: not permitted. You may change the owner of the booking for a $20 admin fee.

In the event that it is cloudy and you do not get a chance to use the equipment a full refund will be issued
